This $110-million, 201,184-square foot hospital broke ground March 14, 2012 and is expected to open in early 2014. When complete, it will feature 90 patient beds with the potential to expand to approximately 300 patient beds.
The hospital is located on a 20-acre site on the campus of Tradition Center for Innovation (TCI), a 150-acre research park designed by researchers to make medical innovation easier. TCI partners include Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies, VGTI Florida, Mann Research Center and Martin Memorial Health Systems.
KHS&S is a full participant in this Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project. KHS&S will complete the project interiors, including metal stud framing, drywall installation and finishes.
