Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Expansion 2019 – Tampa

Tampa, FL

KHS&S Continues Its Encore Performance for this Rock 'n' Roll Legend

The gallery photos show the stunning work our project teams delivered at the $700 million expansion and renovation for Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

KHS&S performed multiple scopes on multiple venues for the project, which marks the largest expansion in the property’s history.  In addition to large volumes of metal framing, drywall, GFRG, laser cut metal ceilings and direct-applied EIFS, KHS&S also framed and sheathed a base for what might be the single most expensive piece of memorabilia in the Hard Rock’s collection: Elvis’s 24-kt. gold leaf piano featured in the casino’s glitzy grand entrance.

Additional project highlights include intricate framing of skylights and curved escalators in the grand entrance; multiple domes throughout the casino and convention floors; 61,000 square feet of specialty acoustical ceilings in the concert and event centers; laser-cut metal ceiling panels in the pool bar and installation of more than 50,000 square feet of GFRG acoustical ceiling.

KHS&S’s work with the casino has spanned more than 30 years, starting with a 20,000-square-foot metal warehouse bingo parlor for the casino in the 1980s.
