Description

The fast-paced Pac-12 Studios project consisted of converting two office floors and the roof of an occupied 74,000 square-foot, 7-story office building into a state of the art broadcasting studio for the PAC-12 Network. The project included multiple studios, executive/administrative offices and work spaces, and rack and mechanical rooms.

The general contractor depended upon us to drive the flow of the project. Through clear, effective and timely communication between our field staff, office, the general contractor, architect and owners representative we were able to make critical changes in an almost instantaneous manner, saving days or weeks under normal project conditions. Where design was lacking constructability issues, we were able to provide cost effective and timely solutions to keep this project on schedule allowing the network to begin their live transmission in August 2012.

KHS&S completed the framing/drywall, taping, isolated floor, wall and ceiling systems, insulation, acoustical and fire caulk, acoustical wall panel and ceiling assemblies, acoustic roof screen walls, and steel angle supports for raised floors.
