KHS&S-East Coast Announces Top Leadership Changes

(TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 11, 2020)  In a planned transition focused on continued company success, KHS&S-East Coast today announced promotions within its executive team.  

Effective immediately, Tampa Senior Vice President Erik Santiago, a KHS&S veteran with more than 25 years at the company, has been promoted to KHS&S president.  In his expanded role, Santiago will focus on the overall management and operations of KHS&S-East Coast offices in Florida, Texas and New Jersey.  Santiago succeeds Michael Cannon, who, after leading KHS&S as CEO/president for more than 16 years, will focus on the company’s overall strategic direction and counsel as CEO and chairman of the board.  

In a related promotion, Tampa’s Jess Robinson, senior vice president, has been promoted to Tampa-area division manager.  Bringing more than 18 years of KHS&S experience to the role, Robinson will direct the day-to-day management and operations of this critical division, which includes operations throughout the expanded Tampa Bay and Northern Florida areas.

“Erik and Jess are new to their positions, but they are well known and highly respected by their fellow KHS&S owners, employees, clients and vendors,” says CEO / Chairman Cannon.  “Both have been leaders in developing KHS&S’s Lean Construction culture and both have the vision and expertise to lead the company, in their respective roles, into the next decades.”

Company co-founder Mark Keenan continues to serve KHS&S in an advisory capacity as founder / chairman emeritus.
