KHS&S is speeding up construction by prefabricating metal studs and drywall for the bathrooms, headwalls and above-ceiling corridor rack walls. Prefabrication also gives the MEP trades an opportunity to complete work in the components before they are installed onsite. KHS&S used BIM to create 3D models of the bathrooms and headwalls to help the MEPs model their components and resolve issues before construction began.

On the exteriors, craftsmen are installing a Reflectit finish to highlight areas of the façade. When applied to EIFS, the pearlescent coating provides the look of metal panels, but at a lower cost.

KHS&S is completing the prefabricated patient bathroom framing, patient bed headwalls and above-ceiling corridor rack walls, metal stud framing, insulation, drywall, lead lined drywall, finishing, FRP, acoustical ceilings, wood veneer ceilings, sheathing, EIFS, Dryvit Reflectit EIFS and UPVC ceilings.
