Helping NASA Launch the Future
At 52 stories, NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) is one of the largest and most voluminous buildings in the world. The building is undergoing renovations, and KHS&S is on the job.
The building is home to many of NASA’s finest and most historic exploration achievements – including the manned Apollo moon landings and the three-decade-long space shuttle program. NASA is now completing renovations to prepare for the next steps of human spaceflight – the Space Launch System (SLS), Orion spacecraft and commercial space taxis.
