KHS&S Delivers a Durable, Self-Cleaning Exterior

UHealth SoLé Mia provides high-quality academic medicine to the communities of North Miami and Aventura. The new seven-story, 370,000-square-foot medical facility includes more than 100 exam rooms, 10 operating rooms, surgical suites and multiple procedure suites. Situated on a 10-acre site, the campus also features open green space, a reflection garden and ocean views—creating a serene environment for patients, families and staff.

KHS&S, a leader in exterior construction and finishing, provided the exterior scope, which included installing the StoPowerwall stucco assembly. This system offers a continuous air and water-resistive barrier while combining the strength of traditional stucco with enhanced crack resistance. For the final finish, StoColor Lotusan wall coating was applied. The self-cleaning technology resists dirt, mold and mildew, helping to preserve the building’s clean and attractive appearance. Together, the stucco and finish delivers long-lasting durability and visual appeal, reducing ongoing maintenance costs.
