Tampa Teams Bring Home Eagles at ABC Excellence in Construction Event

KHS&S-Tampa teams won big at the ABC Gulf Coast Chapter’s Excellence in Construction (EIC) awards gala held Saturday, May 8 in Tampa, FL.

KHS&S brought home four first-place Eagle Awards for projects in various categories. Winning projects include Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino expansion (other interior finishes); Tigris at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (specialty construction); Mahaffey Theater Exterior Renovation (other exteriors) and St. Joseph’s Hospital – South Patient Tower Expansion ( interiors: acoustical, drywall, millwork or plaster).

“This was a very competitive awards program,” says Erik Santiago, president, KHS&S Contractors-East Coast. “We’re honored to be in such good company and proud to have the work of our outstanding teams recognized by our peers.”

The Excellence in Construction Awards program is held every two years by ABC’s Gulf Coast Chapter. Its mission is to celebrate the nation’s most innovative and high quality construction projects and safety programs.
