Chumash Casino Resort
Santa Ynez, California

A series of ice-like acrylic chards "falling" from the ceiling meets its mirror image rising from the casino floor to create an abstract modern effect for this 120,000-square-foot casino owned by the Santa Ynez Band of Mission Indians.

Eight organic pattern acrylic panels and 28 geometric acrylic patterns adorn each side of the casino’s grand staircase / escalator area, with a single modified water curtain effect on each side completing the effect.

KHS&S completed the project’s conceptual, mechanical and wet-lighting design.
