For the porte-cochere, KHS&S used artificial rockwork boulders and flagstone decking to accent a natural pond setting that surrounds a Corona Effect water feature. In order to achieve the effect, KHS&S utilized two series of nozzles – one set toward the center of the pond creating the Corona arch and other series of vertical jets set to create synchronized water bursts and dances. A provocative glow created by underwater lighting completes the setting, which is enhanced by its backdrop of the picturesque hillsides of the Capay Valley.
