Reflecting the highest standard of authenticity, Green Valley Ranch Resort creates a sensory experience that literally transports its visitors to old-world Tuscany. KHS&S completed both the interiors and exteriors of the resort's tower and low-rise, accomplished over an 18-month period.
Ensuring breathtaking realism in every project detail, our artisans meticulously created the interior sky ceiling, GFRC, FRP and GFRG ornamentation, and leather and crackle finishes. One of the project's most challenging elements was the faux wood finishes, due to the high level of detail inherent in multiple graining techniques. Creating over 30 samples of wood finishes, each with three to four stains, KHS&S craftsmen then began the process of applying the finishes to more than 1,300 beams made from metal studs covered with sheetrock. To complete the project's Mediterranean motif, a special team of KHS&S artists created and applied ten unique stencil designs, ranging from leaf and floral to wave and running rope and tassel, to enhance the wood and plaster in many of the project's extraordinary ceiling areas.
