The first ever “6 star” hotel/condominium residence in the United states includes 201 rooms and 20 condo units and includes a 20,000 square foot spa, 9,000 square feet of meeting space as well as restaurants and 33,000 square feet of public gardens.

As a design-assist partner, KHS&S worked hand in hand with the architect and general contractor on drawings for over 8,000 cast pieces. The effective collaboration with the project team resulted in less than 10 RFI’s and only three owner requested change orders.

A unique feature of the project included the seamless integration of GRC, FRP and EIFS materials complemented by the Dryvit free style finish with Santa Barbara smooth cats face texture.
