This 12-story, 332-bed patient tower is the newest addition to the Florida Hospital Orlando campus.
KHS&S’ scope of work included interior framing, drywall, lobby ceilings and GFRG columns, and engineering and framing of a three-story curved, 160-foot glass lobby wall that serves as the lobby’s centerpiece. Sponsored by Disney, the panel features a signature design. Additional scopes of work included framing and sheathing for the project’s exterior metal panels and stonework.
The hospital connects via a pedestrian bridge to the Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children and the Florida Hospital corporate office building.
