KHS&S Creates Synthetic Cedar Finish for Washington Casino
KHS&S themed artisans have created a durable, yet realistic, alternative to red cedar for the exterior of the Casino Snoqualmie in King County, Washington. Using EIFS and a mixture of artistic stains and washings, the synthetic cedar gives the appearance of real cedar, but none of the limitations, which can include high cost and high maintenance. Synthetic cedar joins a long list of other faux finishes in which KHS&S has “gone against the grain” to create real wood detailing without the inherent problems of the real material. For more information, contact Kevin Wirsch at 714.695.3670.
