14, 2005) – Mark Keenan, a founding partner and former long-term
president of Keenan Hopkins Schmidt and Stowell Contractors, Inc.
(dba KHS&S Contractors) has been appointed KHS&S Contractors’
chairman of the board.
Keenan helped found KHS&S and served as president of KHS&S-East
Coast for more than 18 years. He was also a founding stockholder
of KHS&S-West Coast and KHS&S-Concord. Keenan returns
after a two-year retirement.
“I am honored to be asked to return to the company that
bears my name,” said Keenan, 52. “It’s like
coming home. I know the board members, I know the employees and
I know the great things we’re capable of. I’m ready
to get started.”
As chairman, Keenan will have a key role in KHS&S’
overall governance. He will preside over the development of KHS&S’
future growth and financial strategies and will be a bridge between
all KHS&S companies in terms of strategy communication, implementation
and coordination.

his tenure, KHS&S experienced record growth and profits. We
