International Plaza is a 1.2 million square foot shopping facility catering to the exclusive and trendy shopper. With a reputation for high-end specialty work, KHS&S was contracted to complete the facility's exteriors and interiors including applying more than 262,000 square feet of veneer plaster and constructing more than 20 GFRG columns as interior enhancements. Crewmen also completed the exteriors for the 150,000-square-foot open-air entertainment center, Bay Street at the Plaza, adjacent to the main facility. Themed in a New Orleans/Caribbean style, this area required KHS&S to complete 130,650 sq. ft. of stucco exteriors, effecting four different textures, as well as 25 round, squared and tapered GFRC columns and a spiral staircase leading to the parking deck below.
