KHS&S Contractors completed the rotunda lobby, floor lobbies, EIFS on rooftop cupola, roof parapet, exterior stucco soffits, exterior GFRC balcony columns, and core package for this Class A office building.
Rising 14-stories above the heart of the Downtown Business District, the building's signature cupola and roof parapet required that KHS&S crews work at heights exceeding 240 feet. To safely accomplish this task, KHS&S used up to five mast climbers positioned at up to 17 different locations around the curved building exteriors.
KHS&S constructed the grand rotunda's double circle reveal pattern by setting the pattern out on the ground, then using lasers to set the reveals based on radius benchmarks provided by the general contractor. KHS&S then constructed double light coves that hide a series of neon lights, resulting in a soft glow of circular light.
