KHS&S has immersed itself into finding a way to do everything better. An Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Process, is a driving force to establish trust and collaboration within a project at the start. An IPD project empowers everyone on the team to collectively become goal orientated and solution driven for the entirety of the project.
KHS&S has extensive IPD experience. From this experience, our teams have learned first-hand how IPD encourages early sharing of knowledge and experience, resulting in a better designed and built project.
KHS&S uses this collaboration to optimize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication and construction.
The process enhances the quality of the design documents, develops accountability among team players, helps validate and solidify cost value for the owner and facilitates delivering the project in a more efficient manner. The improved coordination and quality of information reduces overall project risk, which benefits all project stakeholders. IPD team critical members of OAC and MEPF (framing) should be fully involved and have ample time to assist in QAQC prior to permit submittal.
