Michael Cannon

Michael Cannon is KHS&S Contractors president and managing partner responsible for all aspects of the company's East Coast organization including the Tampa, Orlando, Dallas and Atlantic City offices. Cannon joined KHS&S in 1991 and quickly made his mark on the company by managing the multi-million- dollar Tampa Division for more than 10 profitable years. In 2002, his success led to his being named president of KHS&S-East Coast.
With more than 25 years of experience, Cannon is known as a no-nonsense construction professional who leads by combining keen business acumen with extensive field and project management expertise. His reputation as a leader who knows the industry from the ground up has allowed him to successfully spearhead multiple company-wide efforts focused on operational efficiency and profitability.
Educated in construction engineering at the University of Toledo, Cannon is a past director of the Associated Builders and Contractors and is involved in numerous other professional organizations.

David Suder
President
KHS&S-West Coast
Dave Suder is KHS&S Contractors president and managing partner responsible for all aspects of the company's West Coast companies. Suder opened KHS&S' West Coast Division in 1997 and has grown it into the Southwest's #1 ranked specialty wall and ceiling contractor. Through a combination of vision, hard work and risk-taking, Suder created a formidable construction organization, allowing KHS&S to rapidly become the interior/exterior contractor for the region's largest and most prestigious construction projects, including Red Rock Casino Resort, Caesars Palace, CityCenter, Pechanga Casino Resort and The Forum Shops Phase III, His philosophy of growing the organization through expanding the vision and capabilities of the KHS&S employee teams has become a cornerstone of the KHS&S-West Coast culture. Most recently, Suder helped introduce the KHS&S employee stock ownership plan, making KHS&S-West Coast an employee-owned company.
Educated at California State University at Fullerton, Suder is experienced in every facet of construction management. He is affiliated with numerous professional associations including the California Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association, the Themed Entertainment Association and the Nevada Contractor's Association.

Mark Gill
Group President
KHS&S-Northern California
Mark Gill is group president of KHS&S' Northern California operations. Based on Concord, CA, he is a managing partner with more than 20 years of extensive field and construction management experience. Gill began his career in 1977 as an estimator / project manager and was managing a $20 million annual sales division with more than 300 employees before agreeing to open KHS&S' Northern California operations in January 1999. Today, Gill has grown the Northern California market into a $25 million annual division which is consistently one of the most profitable in the company.
Educated at California State University at Fullerton, Gill has been directly involved with numerous major construction projects including San Francisco's de Young Museum and the Letterman Digital Arts Center at San Francisco's historic Persidio.

Philip Cherne
Executive Vice President

In his role as executive vice president, Philip Cherne is responsible for KHS&S-West Coast's operations, estimating and preconstruction services, including KHS&S-West Coast's highly acclaimed themed construction services. In this industry known as half-Hollywood, half-construction, Cherne is considered the unrivaled master of his trade. On projects such as Caesars Palace, The Forum Shops, Green Valley Ranch Resort and Desert Passage, Cherne has led a team of architectural engineers, art directors and craftsmen that have worked together to create award-winning blends of colors, textures and finishes that have captured the imagination and admiration of visitors around the globe.
Educated at California State University at Fullerton, Cherne has extensive experience in thematic finish creation, architectural millwork and in estimating complex themed environments.

John Platon
Senior Vice President
KHS&S-West Coast
As KHS&S-West Coast senior vice president, John Platon is responsible for securing profitable new projects and for identifying and developing opportunities for joint ventures and other business relationships that further KHS&S' strategic goals for growth and expansion. Since joining KHS&S in 2001, Platon has been responsible for securing some of the company’s largest and most prestigious projects, including the $80,000,000 Red Rock Casino Resort and the $32,000,000 Pechanga Casino Resort.
Educated in architecture at Long Beach State University in California and having more than 30 years of professional construction experience, Platon has worked in all facets of the construction process. It’s this broad base of knowledge that gives him the ability to quickly evaluate a project, making suggestions for ways to overcome potential challenges and offering cost-saving materials and building alternatives. It’s also made him invaluable to clients, helping KHS&S build relationships throughout the construction industry.

Steven Ehrlich
Chief Financial Officer
KHS&S-East Coast
In his role as KHS&S Chief Financial Officer, Steven Ehrlich directs all financial activities of KHS&S, including internal and external financial reporting, business growth forecasting and overseeing of accounting and auditing functions. In addition, Ehrlich oversees the company's banking and capital investment decisions. A CPA with more than 17 years of experience in the building and construction industry, Ehrlich was also instrumental in developing the KHS&S shareholder/business model, an important component of KHS&S' strategic growth plan.
Ehrlich received a master's in business administration from the Wharton School of Business, and a bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia. Trained in public accounting at Coopers and Lybrand, Ehrlich is a past president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, where he remains an active member.

Dennis Norman
Chief Financial Officer

In his role as West Coast’s chief financial officer, Dennis Norman oversees the company’s accounting and auditing functions and directs the organization’s financial activities, financial reporting and business growth forecasting. A CPA with more than 20 years experience, Norman is also responsible for the company’s banking and investment relationships.
Norman received his accounting degree from Illinois State University and his MBA from Pepperdine University. Prior to joining KHS&S in 2002, Norman held key financial positions in the construction industry in Texas and throughout California.
